maya's favorite book lately

I've read this book so many times in the past month, I think I know it by heart. I love it almost as much as Maya does. It's fun and beautiful and every detail is so thoughtful and new, even though it was first published in 1952 in Finland. The poetry, the drawings, the cut-out pages, the characters...soooooo great!
